Andrea Joined PT Northwest in August of 2010. Andrea says “I was working in Portland and commuting every day and wanted to work for a great company in my own community. I also have always worked for big healthcare organizations and the opportunity to work for a company that was smaller and had a family feel was exciting.”
Andrea graduated from OSU in 1994 with a BS in General Science/Minor in German. She graduated from Pacific University 1999 with MSPT and became a Geriatric Certified Specialist in 2012.
Andrea is currently working out of our Silverton hospital setting with the inpatient population; most of her career has been spent treating geriatric population in different settings – outpatient clinic, aquatic setting, home health and in the hospital.
Outside of work Andrea enjoys spending time with her family – “I have three boys 12, 9, and 5 and chasing after their activities – in the spring and summer I spend a lot of time on the baseball fields, enjoy spending time outdoors – hiking, camping, or playing at the beach; try to stay active by walking/running but I am a fair weather runner – don’t like running in the cold and rain.”
