Meet Jen, Our Newest PT Student – And Learn More About Hands-On Learning at PT Northwest!
We’re excited to introduce Jen, our newest student here at PT Northwest! Jen, currently studying at Graceland University, and has already brought great energy and enthusiasm to our team. She’s gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment that emphasizes hands-on learning; just one of the many benefits of interning at PT Northwest.

JB: What inspired you to pursue a career in physical therapy?
Jen: The desire to be able to help people with impairments on a deeper level.
JB: What’s your favorite thing about working with patients so far?
Jen: They are all about having students being a part of their care and are up for any change in routine/exercise. The patients really make it an enjoyable place to be a part of.
JB: What’s your favorite thing about PT Northwest?
Jen: The staff! I ask A LOT of questions and they are always available to help with my learning journey.
JB: What do you love doing outside of work?
Jen: Anything outdoors, like most stereotypical Oregonians!
JB: What school are you attending, and when is your expected graduation?
Jen: I’m studying at Graceland University, and my expected graduation date is December 2025.
JB: Have you found a favorite local spot yet?
Jen: Yes! I love New Morning Bakery. Their food is delicious!
JB: What advice would you give to another student considering working at PT Northwest?
Jen: Do it! You really get a great mix of impairments to treat and care for. The staff has created a great fun environment working together in the best interest of the patients.
